Balance - The Artistic Dermatology Course
Teilnehmerkreis: Tierärzt:innen, vet.-med. Studierende
Zeitraum: 29.07.2025 20:00 - 30.10.2025 - 00:00
Referenten:In this course, three highly qualified dermatologists will discuss interesting topics that you will encounter in your daily practice. They will impressively demonstrate how to properly treat your dermatological patients and how you can differentiate yourself through a modern and scientifically proven approach from colleagues who just treat skin diseases without looking at the bigger picture.
Dipl. ECVD Susan Paterson dedicates two lectures to the omnipresent topic of ear diseases in dogs and cats. Paving the way for us to make correct and long-term sustainable decisions regarding the treatment of these diseases in the age of antibiotic and steroid stewardship.
Dipl. ECVD Jeanette Bannoehr explains in her usual enthusiastic manner what exactly the skin microbiome is, which functions in skin health it performs and how we can maintain it. Her second webinar focuses on the exciting topic of autoimmune diseases in dogs and cats.
Dipl. ECVD Ross Bond shares his knowledge of his specialty and subject of years of successful research: Malassezia infections. In his webinar, he impressively demonstrates what we should know about yeast infections and what important factors we should consider in order to treat our patients correctly.

The skin is accessible to everyone. While this makes it easier on one side, errors in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases are significantly more common than in other specialized areas of veterinary medicine.
Anyone can treat skin patients, but only a few are able to see the skin for what it is: a highly complex organ whose treatment requires a great deal of expertise. If you want to understand why “Balance is key” and why treating a dermatological patient is like painting or sculpturing a piece of art: this course is made for you!
